Granitumi is committed to ensuring your privacy and to processing your personal data with care and in accordance with the law. Personal data means information relating to a living person and by which that person can be identified.
This Privacy Notice explains how and why we process your information, how and where it is collected, with whom your information is shared, and how you can control and access your information.
How and why we process your data
Granitumi collects and maintains personal information about individuals in order to provide, prepare and maintain services to our customers.
Information is collected from individuals directly, and from public registers (LinkedIn, Fonecta, company websites, Setmore) and from the individual’s activities, e.g. contacts by phone, email, job applications.
We use your data for the following purposes:
- to fulfil contractual obligations
- to verify your identity
- marketing and sales
- for the enforcement of laws, e.g. accounting
- to assist you in the enforcement of your legal obligations, for example, to enforce your legal rights
If you terminate your contract with us, we must retain some of your data for the period specified by law.
Manual data is stored in appropriately locked premises.
Digitally processed data
The use of the personal data file is regulated within the Granitumi organisation and access to the personal data file is restricted so that only those registered employees who are entitled to access the data by virtue of their job are granted access. The data controller has arranged for access control to its premises. Our systems are protected by operating system security software. Access to the system requires each user of the register to enter a defined user name and the correct password. Contracts of assignment oblige the parties processing personal data on behalf of Graniitti Service to protect personal data in an equivalent manner.
What information we collect about you
For sales and recruitment purposes, we collect various types of personal data about individuals:
- Job title
- Phone number
Your contracts with Granitumi are stored in our systems. Information related to communication, e.g. emails and sales notes, will be kept. We only store information that is necessary and relevant to the service in question.
You have the right to ask us what information we hold about you by contacting email@example.com.
We will only keep your personal data for as long as is justified by law or regulation.
Please also note that the information we collect is necessary to provide the services and if this information is not provided, the contract or the terms of the contract cannot be fulfilled.
With whom we may share your data
In order for us to take the necessary steps in connection with the contract, we may need to share your information with parties outside Granitumi.
The parties to whom we may share your information include:
- Accountancy firms, banks and insurance companies
- Tax authorities
- Occupational Health Services
Your data will not be transferred outside the EU
How you can manage and view your personal data
You have the right to access and manage your personal data.
Receiving direct marketing:
You can notify us at any time if you do not wish to receive direct marketing emails or phone calls by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
